William "Bill" Sullenberger, 69, of New Alexandria, passed away Monday, April 17, 2023, at Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital with family by his side. He was born September 4, 1953, in Greensburg, to the late Joseph and Margie (Irwin) Sullenberger. He worked as a Landscaper and Mechanic for Kings Nursery and Bell Telephone. He loved his family and loved to talk. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers and the love of his life Dolly. He is survived by his daughters, Traci Sullenberger (Doug Dwyer) and Tina Finnigan (Mike Mazzoni); four grandchildren, Nicholas Finnigan, BreeAnna Cline, Cody Finnigan, and Alyssa Yeckel; and five great-grandchildren; two brothers and several nieces and nephews and sister-in-laws including Nancy Noel. Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, April 21, 2023, at P. DAVID NEWHOUSE FUNERAL HOME, 215 Church St., New Alexandria, PA 15670, 724-668-2248, where a funeral service will take place at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 22, 2023. Interment will follow at St. Clair Cemetery, Greensburg. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the American Blind Association in Greensburg in his memory.
