Thomas J. Patterson

Thomas J. Patterson, 64, of New Alexandria, passed away Monday, July 25, 2022, at home.  He was born May 13, 1958, in Latrobe to Lloyd Binkey Patterson and G. Elaine (Mowry) Patterson.  He was a steelworker having worked at Blairsville Machine/Specialty Bar Products of Blairsville, PA.  Tom enjoyed racing at Keystone Raceway in the 1980's and 1990's.  He was a member of the United Steel Workers Union; and the Harley Owners Group, Latrobe, PA Chapter.  He enjoyed riding his Harley-Davidson; hunting, and woodworking.  He was a hands on person.  Nothing brought him more joy than getting into projects and working with his hands.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a nephew David Roble.  He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years Susan Marie (Drummond) Patterson; a son, Jeffrey Thomas Patterson and his fiancee`, Heather Santus; a daughter, Stephanie Lyn Lauffer and her husband Jeremy; three grandchildren, Allie, Trenton, and Myla Patterson; a sister, Laura Patterson and her friend, Eric Bowman; and his walking companion "Strudel".  Visitation will take place Thursday, July 28, 2022, from 4-8 PM at P.
