Thomas B. Lockard, 72, of New Alexandria, died Friday, June 11, 2010, in Excela Health Latrobe Hospital. Born Dec. 13, 1937, in Indiana, Pa., he was the son of the late Clarence E. and Nancy (Cunningham) Lockard. Tom was a retired truck driver. He was a member of Community United Presbyterian Church of New Alexandria. He also belonged to the Blairsville Elks and the Greensburg Moose. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a son, Scott T. Lockard, in 1991; and a sister, Barbara Lockard Miller. He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Lillian Lydic Lockard, of New Alexandria; a daughter, Beverly M. Vought and husband, Brian, of Saltsburg; and two grandsons, Brian Scott and James. Friends will be received from 1 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the P. DAVID NEWHOUSE FUNERAL HOME, corner of Church and Washington streets, in New Alexandria.
