Sandra Lee (Edder) McCune

Sandra Lee (Edder) McCune, 83, New Alexandria, passed away Friday, December 12, 2025, in Concordia at Bethlen Ligonier Gardens.

She was born August 5, 1942 in Salina. She was the daughter of late Roy Glenn Jr. and Janet Marie (Jones) Edder.

Prior to retirement was a pie baker at the Corner Restaurant. She was a member of the Old Salem Church, Derry Twp.  

Besides her parents Sandra is preceded in death by her loving husband James Innis McCune III in 2002; one son Dusty Glen McCune; and two brothers John and Roger Edder.

Sandra is survived by two sons James McCune and Shawn McCune and wife Sheri of Derry; one daughter Melissa McCune and fiancé John Yuris of Blairsville; one brother Robert Edder and wife Mildred of OH; one sister Becky Wininger and husband Rick of AL; one sister-in-law Linda Edder of Philadelphia; six grandchildren James, Shawn, Shane, and Amanda McCune, John Himler and wife Marissa, and Jessica Rhodes and husband Robert; six great-grandchildren Lane and Easton Himler, Denton and Peyton Rhodes, and Shane and George McCune; several nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation for Sandra will be held 2-4 and 6-8 PM, Friday, December, 19, 2025 in the P. DAVID NEWHOUSE FUNERAL HOME, 215 Church St., New Alexandria, PA 15670, 724-668-2248.

A funeral service will be held 10 AM, Saturday, December, 20, 2025 in the funeral home with the Rev. Ron Durika officiating.  

Interment will be in the New Alexandria Union Cemetery.
