Ruth Jean Stoltz

Ruth Jean Stoltz, 91, of Greensburg, died Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2017, at St. Anne Home in Greensburg. She was born Feb. 6, 1925, in Jeannette, a daughter of George Epley and Fanny Fallas. Ruth retired from Waldens Bookstore at Greengate Mall where she worked for 25 years as the manager. One of her first jobs was as a telephone operator for Bell Telephone in Greensburg. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Jeannette. Ruth was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Thomas J. Stoltz; and siblings, Howard, Clyde, Joseph and Mildred. She is survived by two daughters, Deborah Ford, of Ormond Beach, Fla., and Cindy Hafer, of Greensburg; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. There will be no visitation.
