Ruth C. Lewis, 75, of Greensburg, passed away Tuesday, April 24, 2018, with her loving family by her side, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital of Pittsburgh. She was born Jan. 30, 1943, in New Cumberland, W.Va., to Robinson Barnhart and Alberta Elizabeth Willard Barnhart. Ruth was a homemaker and housewife. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by Edward H. Emigh, her first husband; and Walter J. Lewis, her second husband; two brothers; a granddaughter; and a grandson. She is survived by her sisters, Robbie (John) Ernette, of Jeannette, Mary (Gary) Austin, of Wilpen, Claire (Terry) Turner, of Homer City, and Cathy (Michael) Saures, of Blairsville; and brothers, William (Luann) Barnhart, of Blairsville, and Richard (Toni) Barnhart of Derry. She is also survived by her children, Diane (Dave) Yankuskie, of Saltsburg, Darlene (Todd) Kirk, of Tennessee, Donna (John) Ciccarelli, of Greensburg, Tim Emigh, of Greensburg, and Judy (Joel) Karchner, of Berwick; and numerous grandchildren. There will be no visitation, at the request of the family. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, New Alexandria. P.
