Rose Rita Suda DeMary

Rose R. Suda DeMary New Alexandria Rose Rita "Bunny" Suda DeMary, 89, of New Alexandria, died Tuesday, Dec. 25, 2018, at Excela Health Latrobe Hospital. She was born Jan. 29, 1929, in Latrobe to Henrietta Orezhowski and Lawrence Suda. Bunny was a lunchroom supervisor at Metzgar School. She was a member of St. James Catholic Church in New Alexandria and a member of the Rosary Altar Society and the Outreach Program. Bunny was preceded in death along with her parents by her husband, Samuel DeMary; brothers, Frank, Stanley, the Rev. Thaddeus O.S.B., John, Lawrence, Henry and Anthony; and sisters, Anna and Laura Suda and Sophia Suda Patts. She is survived by her son, Samuel J. (Michel) DeMary, of Norvelt; a sister, Helen (Sis) Suda; sisters-in-law, Pearl DeMary and Dot DeMary; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, Dec. 28, 2018, at P. DAVID NEWHOUSE FUNERAL HOME, 215 Church St., New Alexandria, newhousefuneralhome.com. Service time is 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 29, 2018, at St. James Catholic Church, New Alexandria, with Monsignor Larry J. Kulick, J.C.L., officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Hill Cemetery, Unity Township.
