Ronald Cramer Obituary

Ronald E. "Ron" Cramer, 66, of New Alexandria, PA, passed away Sunday, Mar. 21, 2021 at UPMC-Presbyterian. He was born Jan. 19, 1955 in Latrobe, PA to the late Lawrence E. Cramer and Shirley A. (Strandberg) Cramer. He was a machinist at Kennametal Delmont and a supervisor at Kennametal Chestnut Ridge in the drill program. Ron was a member of St. James Roman Catholic Church, New Alexandria, PA, a Life Member of New Alexandria Volunteer Fire Department Station 77, and an Assistant Scoutmaster of Boy Scouts of America Troop 345, New Alexandria, PA. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a grandson, Aidan B. O'Rourke. Ron is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Judith K. "Judy" (Halula) Cramer; a son, Jason E. Cramer and Lauralee Cramer, and a daughter, Kerrie M. (Cramer) O'Rourke and her husband George O'Rourke; five grandchildren, Zachary, Zander, Kade, Hollis and Shyanne; six brothers and sisters; several nieces and nephews; as well as his close companion, Duke. Memorial visitation will be Friday, Mar. 26, 2021 from 6-8 PM in the P. DAVID NEWHOUSE FUNERAL HOME, 215 Church St., New Alexandria, PA 15670, 724-668-2248. We respectfully request your adherence to all current medical guidelines, including wearing a mask and social distancing, as well as your understanding as we maintain occupancy limits. A Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, March 27, 2021 at 9:30 AM at the St. James Roman Catholic Church with Rev. Tyler J. Bandura as celebrant. EVERYONE IS ASKED TO GO DIRECTLY TO THE CHURCH. Entombment will follow in Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont PA.
