Robert W. Klingensmith

Robert W. Klingensmith, 56, of New Alexandria, died Thursday, June 19, 2014, in Excela Health Latrobe Hospital peacefully surrounded by his family. Born Nov. 23, 1957, in Greensburg, he was a son of the late Warren Klingensmith and the late Catherine Davis Klingensmith. Bob was self-employed. He was a life member of the Salem Ukranian Club and the New Alexandria Firemans' Club, both in New Alexandria. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, David in 2009. Bob is survived by two sisters, Sharren MacDonald and husband, Harry, of New Alexandria, and Mary Jo and husband, Russ McCoy, of Jeannette; several aunts and uncles; nieces and nephews; and his many friends. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, June 23, 2014, at P. DAVID NEWHOUSE FUNERAL HOME, corner of Church and Washington streets, New Alexandria, in charge of arrangements.
