Richard Davis Obituary

Richard Leigh Davis, 70, of Donegal, passed away Monday, Jan. 3, 2022, at home. He was born Oct. 11, 1951, in New Kensington, to the late Albert and Catherine (Allshouse) Davis. A gentle giant. He was a seeker of truth and loved everyone he met. A retired Station Engineer for Peoples Natural Gas Company, he could fix nearly anything and loved the challenge. He sang for the Fellowship Quartet of Friendship Village Campground for 17 years and was a Deacon of the Missional Church, Bedford. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Kirk Dougles Davis. He was survived by his wife of 45 years Donna (Canale) Davis but she also passed away only four days after him; additionally, he is survived by three children Justin S. Davis and his wife Joanna and Alyscia J. Ziemba as well as her boyfriend John Copper, and Mckennya Pickford; four grandchildren Theodore, Oliver and Augustine Davis and Caeden Ziemba; two sisters Cheri Holt and her husband Ted and Candy Hepler and her husband David; a brother L. David Davis and his wife Ellen; as well as several nieces and nephews.  A memorial service for Richard and Donna will be held Saturday, Jan. 22, 2022 at 11 AM at the Real Life Assembly of God Church 1825 Freeport Rd, Arnold, PA 15068 with a luncheon to follow.
