Ralph William McCabe Jr.

Ralph W. "Huck" McCabe Jr., 74, of Luxor passed away Wednesday, Aug. 24, 2016, at UPMC East, Monroeville. Born Feb. 25, 1942, in Luxor, he was a son of the late Ralph Riley McCabe and Dorothy Bell Bekan. Ralph was a retired landscaper. He was a member of Luxor United Methodist Church in Luxor. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Anna Jean; a brother, ***Ruben, and daughter-in-law, Chrissy Shoaf McCabe. Ralph is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Julia N. McCabe; his son, William R. McCabe of West Newton; four sisters, Dorothy Wallace of Luxor, Rose Wallace of Crabtree, Esther Noel and Nancy McCabe, both of Greensburg; three brothers, Joe McCabe, Dave McCabe and Robert McCabe, all of Luxor, and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 9 a.m. until noon Saturday, Aug. 27, in P. David Newhouse Funeral Home, 215 Church St., New Alexandria. Service will be held at noon Saturday, Aug. 27, in the funeral home with Pastor Tammy Falcsik of Luxor United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will be private.
