Paul Weaver Obituary

Paul William Weaver, 70, of New Alexandria, died Tuesday, July 29, 2014, in Excela Health Latrobe Hospital. He was born April 21, 1944, in Herminie, son of the late Harry and Effie Lint Weaver. Paul retired from LWB Steinl Inc., where he was a field service technician. Paul loved to go hunting and camping. He loved playing blackjack at the casinos and dining out. Along with his parents, he was predeceased by his son, Nicholas Paul Weaver; and siblings, Harry Weaver Jr., Elizabeth Weaver and David Weaver. He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Sandra McDonald Weaver, of New Alexandria; five sons and two daughters, Paul William Weaver Jr. and wife, Rose, of Clarion, Brian Lee Weaver and wife, Darlene, of Spring, Texas, Robert Wesley Weaver and wife, Sarah, of New Alexandria, Lori Ann Seiffert and husband, Eric, of Springfield, Mass., William Jacob Smith, of New Alexandria, Douglas Edward Smith and wife, Stacy, of Apollo, and Tammy Jane Smith Garland and companion, Bill, of Pleasant Unity; 20 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and his beloved pet dog, Pebbles. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, July 31, 2014, at P. DAVID NEWHOUSE FUNERAL HOME, corner of Church and Washington streets, New Alexandria. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 1, 2014, in the funeral home, with the Rev. Almon Birt, pastor of Covenant Care Ministeries, Greensburg, officiating. Burial will be in Westmoreland County Memorial Park, Hempfield Township.
