Paul S. Kelly, 78, of Latrobe, died Saturday, Aug. 9, 2014, at Oak Hill Nursing and Rehab, Greensburg. He was born Sept. 30, 1935, in Loyalhanna Township, a son of the late William Sherman Kelly and Dorothy Murphy Kelly. Paul retired from Standard Steel and also was a brick and block layer and was a construction worker. He was a member of First Church of God in Latrobe, American Legion Post 515 and Frontier Club, Latrobe. He loved working and his dogs. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War. Along with his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Stanley D. Kelly; and one sister, Elizabeth Kelly. He is survived by his loving wife, Dora (Lydic) Kelly, of Latrobe; five brothers and sisters, William Kelly, of Valrico, Fla., Esther M. Drummond, of Blairsville, Jack D. Kelly and wife, Carol, of Loyalhanna, Donna Jean Ventresco and husband, Chuck, of Avonmore, and Nancy Lee McMunn and husband, Dennis, of Saltsburg; his faithful companions, Daisy and Little Bit 2; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 2 to 5:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 11, 2014, at P. DAVID NEWHOUSE FUNERAL HOME, corner of Church and Washington Streets in New Alexandria, http://www.newhousefuneralhome.com., where funeral services will follow at 5:30 p.m., with the Rev. Mike Bobula, of the First Church of God, Latrobe, officiating. Burial in Union Cemetery, New Alexandria.
