Patricia Ann Eichler

Patricia Ann "Patty" Sloskey Eichler passed away peacefully Monday, Jan. 26, 2015, in Select Specialty Care Hospital in Latrobe. Pat was born Oct. 28, 1946. She was the daughter of the late John and Ann Kivador Sloskey, of New Alexandria. Pat was also predeceased by her sister, Joann Shirley; two brothers, John and Edward, and her fiancee, Doug Dovenspike. She is survived by her daughter, Anna Marie; also her former husband and caregiver, Tim Eichler, of Greensburg; her brother, Michael Sloskey, of New Alexandria; sisters, Mary Lou Mochan, of New Alexandria, and Joyce Blough, of Boswell; a niece, Terri; nephews, Joseph, JR, Jonathan and Michael; her cousins, who loved her very much; a special friend, David Dovenspike; her friends at Pershing Square apartments; and all others who knew her. Pat endured many hardships in her lifetime, but the "little things" in life brought her much happiness. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 30, 2015, in the Community Room at Pershing Square Apartments, 209 W. 3rd St., Greensburg. The Rev. A. Wayne Duffield will conduct the service.
