Olga Marie Kohuth Newhouse

Olga M. Kohuth Newhouse New Alexandria Olga Marie "Toots" Kohuth Newhouse, 85, loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, of New Alexandria, died Saturday, July 22, 2017, at home. She was born Dec. 31, 1931, in Dorothy, daughter of the late Michael "Scotty" Kohuth and Mary Vincze Kohuth. Olga was an avid bowler, gardener, baker and loved doing crafts and playing cards with her family and friends. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Eugene F. Newhouse Sr.; her son, Jeffrey A. Newhouse Sr.; her stepmother, Kathryn S. Kohuth; her sister, Mary F. Kohuth; and her brother, Leon Kohuth. She is survived by her sons, Eugene F. Newhouse Jr. and wife Susan, of New Alexandria, Dennis M. Newhouse and wife Deborah, of New Alexandria, and Scott W. Newhouse and wife Tammy, of Latrobe; two brothers, Andrew J. Kohuth and wife Mary Anne, of Bradenville, and Michael J. Kohuth, of Derry; one sister, Teresa J. Oshie and husband Frank, of Latrobe; and one sister-in-law, Dot Seanor and husband Jack, of New Alexandria. Olga is also survived by her nine loving grandchildren and her 11 loving great-grandchildren, who were all the lights of her life. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Donations may be given to Via Quest Hospice or the Alzheimer's Foundation. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, July 25, 2017, at P. DAVID NEWHOUSE FUNERAL HOME, 215 Church St., New Alexandria. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 26, 2017, in the funeral home with the Rev. Nathan Watkins officiating.
