Nicholas Matthew Finnigan

Nicholas Matthew Finnigan, 32, of New Alexandria, passed away Sunday, Apr. 27, 2025.  He was born Feb. 7, 1993, in Latrobe, to Shawn L. Finnigan and Tina (Sullenberger) Finnigan.  Nicholas worked in food service for several restaurants and enjoyed cooking.  He was a current student at Indiana University of Pennsylvania.  He loved to fish for anything that would bite a hook, playing and watching football, and was a huge Philadelphia Eagles fan.  Nicholas had a great sense of humor and could always find a way to make everyone laugh.  Even if someone had every reason to be mad, he could find a way to make them smile.  He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, William Sullenberger and Dolly Miller.  He is survived by his father, Shawn L. Finnigan (Nancy) and his mother, Tina Finnigan (Mike Mazzoni); three siblings, Cody Finnigan, Alyssa Yeckel, and Haleigh Finnigan; four nieces, JJ Longo, Cody T. B. Finnigan, Cassandra Finnigan, and Rhiannon Finnigan.  Family and friends will be received from 4-7 p.m. Friday, May. 2, 2025, at P.
