Obituary

Nancy (Elder) Vincze, 82, of New Alexandria, passed away Sunday, Mar. 27, 2022, at UPMC Mercy Hospital, Pittsburgh.  She was born Sep. 15, 1939, in New Alexandria, to the late Knox and Elizabeth (Sloskey) Elder.  She was a homemaker and a lifelong member of the Reformed Presbyterian Church of North America.  Nancy always made time for her family.  She loved gardening, cooking, entertaining, participating and interacting with her church group and traveling as she was able.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by six siblings Mary Anna Uptegraph, Helen Seifert, John Elder,  Thomas Elder, James Elder, and Linda Monico.  She is survived by her husband of 56 years John J. Vincze; three children Timothy Vincze, David Vincze (Elizabeth), and Jonathan Vincze; a sister Betty Finley (Bill); as well as several nieces and nephews.  A memorial service will take place Sat., April 02, 2022, at 11 AM in the P. DAVID NEWHOUSE FUNERAL HOME (Chapel), 215 Church St., New Alexandria, PA 15670, 724-668-2248 with Rev.
