Maurice H. (Moe) Ross

Maurice H. "Moe" Ross, 89, of Crabtree, died Thursday, Jan. 7, 2016, at St. Anne Home in Greensburg. He was born Dec. 18, 1926, in Unity Township, a son of the late Marion Earl Ross and Gertrude Henry Ross. He was a self employed dairy farmer and also retired from Teledyne Vasco after 20 years. He was a member of the Latrobe Presbyterian Church. Moe was a member of the National Harley Owners Group and the Latrobe Harley Owners Group. He enjoyed riding his Harley sidecar on many of the clubrides and also local parades. He was an avid hunter, traveling to the Rocky Mountains with his family on hunting trips. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Ruth Ross, Ella Mae Ross and Grace Ross Shutt; brother, Edward Ross; and an infant granddaughter, Lisa Marie Fadrosh. He is survived by his three children, Vickie Fadrosh and husband, William, of Greensburg, Maurice H. "Deke" Ross Jr. and wife, Barbara, of Latrobe, and Richard Ross and wife, Darleen, of Rector; grandchildren, Tracy, Dave, Justin, Steven, Jennifer, Amanda and Rick; great-grandchildren, Erin, Lauryn, Evan, Grant, Carly and Ethan.
