Mary C. Mangini, 95, of Crabtree, died Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2012, in Greensburg. She was born May 15, 1916, in Andrico, a daughter of the late Andrew Cimbalos and Anna Miczo Cimbalos. She was a housewife and homemaker. Mary was a member of St. Bartholomew Catholic Church of Crabtree, where she belonged to the Rosary Altar Society and the Fellowship. She belonged to various card clubs and she loved playing bingo and going to the casino. Along with her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her first husband, William Opsitnick, and second husband, Emedio Mangini; sisters, Elizabeth Yantos, Anne Greenawalt, Margaret Cimbalos and Sophie Smith; and brother, Michael Cimbalos. She is survived by her children, William and Mary Opsitnick, of Greensburg, and Bertha 'Bernie' Caldwell, of Crabtree; two grandsons, Randall and William Opsitnick; a great-granddaughter, Amanda Flinn; and a sister, Katherine Scott, of New York. Visitation will be on Friday February 10, 2012 from 4PM until 8PM in the P. David Newhouse Funeral Home, corner of Church and Washington Streets in New Alexandria, PA. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Bartholomew Catholic Church of Crabtree with the Rev. Father Justin Matro, O.S.B., as celebrant.
