Mary Jane Hartman-Kinnan

Mary Jane Hartman-Kinnan, 66, of New Alexandria passed away Tuesday, Sept. 9, 2014, in Excela Health Latrobe Hospital. Born Oct. 6, 1947, in Latrobe, she was a daughter of the late Donato and Edna (Lisbon) Speal. Jane was retired from New Alexandria Fireman's Club, where she was the steward for 27 years and also a member. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Ann Speal Eckel; brother-in-law, Amos Eckel, and a nephew, James David Steele. Jane is survived by her loving husband and companion of 34 years, Leroy W. Kinnan Sr. of New Alexandria; two stepchildren, Leroy W. Kinnan Jr. and wife Valerie of Youngwood (and three grandchildren, Jocelyn, Malinda and Hannah) and Kerri Kinnan and fiancé, Dean Naser, of New Alexandria; two brothers, Thomas J. Speal of New Alexandria and Dan Speal Jr. and wife Patty of Nowrytown, and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Visitation will be 2 until 4 and 7 until 9 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 11, in P. David Newhouse Funeral Home, corner of Church and Washington streets, New Alexandria. Service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 12, in the funeral home with the Rev. Kathleen Shirey, pastor of Community United Presbyterian Church of New Alexandria, officiating.
