Mary D. Bonrisco

Mary D. "Larrie" Bonrisco, of Latrobe, formerly of New Alexandria, died Saturday, Feb. 26, 2011, in Excela Health Latrobe Hospital . She was a daughter of the late John and Mary (Puris) Lazauskas. Larrie was a member of St. James Catholic Church of New Alexandria , where she belonged to the Altar and Rosary Society. She also was a member of the New Alexandria Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. Along with her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Daniel A. Bonrisco, on Feb. 26, 2010; a granddaughter, Carmella Harr; three sisters, Adella, Helen and Ann; and a brother, Joseph. She is survived by three daughters, Jean Harr and husband, Ron, of Latrobe, Valerie Martin and husband, Bruce, of San Antonio, Texas, and Shirl Bonrisco, of Huntingdon, Pa.; grandchildren, Terry, Roni, Todd, Daniel, Susan and Garrett; great-grandchildren, Brian, Jessica, Nicole, Luke, Joshua, Benjamin and Ethan; and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the P. DAVID NEWHOUSE FUNERAL HOME, corner of Church and Washington streets, New Alexandria. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. James Catholic Church, New Alexandria, with Monsignor Lawrence T. Persico, JCL, as celebrant.
