Mary Louise Anderson

Mary Louise Anderson, age 90 of New Alexandria died Wed., Feb. 23, 2011 in the Excela Health Care of Westmoreland. She was born November 20, 1920 at Greensburg, PA. She was the daughter of Harry P. & Bertha Smith McChesney. She graduated from Greensburg High School, Class of 1938,retired from Troutmans Department Store after many years and was also a busy homemaker. She was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church in Latrobe and a member of Job's Daughters International for many years. She lived life to the fullest and enjoyed; gardening, cooking, baking, playing cards, and most of all loved spending time with family. Left to cherish her memory are her four children Charles Hudson (friend JoAnn Varsel), William (Sandy) Hudson, Barbra (David Sr.)Miller, and Nancy (Gene) Swartzlander. She had ten grandchildren Edward (friend Kim Muldowney) Hudson, Wendy Hudson (John) Smith, Emmy Hudson Songer (deceased), Tammy Hudson (Rob) Crouthamel, Kathy Hudson (Craig) Deuel, David (Heather) Miller, Jr., Jamie Bostian (Wally) Croner, Bruce (Jennifer) Bostian, Jody Bostian (Mark) Romanelli, Maggie Bostian. She also had 14 great granchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren and a dear friend Mary Jo Warren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband Glen H. Anderson, her brother William P. McChesney, and one granddaughter. Friends will be received Thursday, Feb. 24 from 6 - 8 PM at the P. David Newhouse Funeral Home, corner of Church and Washington Streets, New Alexandria, PA where a Christian burial will be celebrated Friday, Feb. 25 at 11 AM, friends will also be received at 10 AM before the service.
