Mark R. Mazzoni

Mark R. Mazzoni, 35, of Derry Township, died Friday, April 29, 2016, in his home, with his dog, Margie, by his side. He was born March 17, 1981, in Latrobe, a son of Denis and Debbie Mazzoni, of Derry. Mark was employed by MAROC of Reston, Va. He was a proud member of Laborers Local 1451 for more than 14 years. He was a graduate of Western PA Laborers Training Center Apprenticeship Program. He also served as an executive board member of Local 1451. He was a 1999 graduate of Derry High School, where he lettered four years in wrestling. He was a member of the Derry Rod and Gun Club. He loved going hunting with his dad, brothers and his many friends. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Mark was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Robert Davidson; and paternal grandfather, Charles Mazzoni. Along with his parents, he is survived by his maternal grandmother, Angela Davidson, of Latrobe; paternal grandmother, Jennie Mazzoni, of Frogtown; two siblings, Zack and wife, Shannon Mazzoni, and their daughters, Sophia and Lola, of Derry, and Denis "Bubba" and wife, Kalie Mazzoni, and son, Max, and daughter, Mia, of Derry; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Friends will be received from 2 until 9 p.m. Monday, May 2, 2016, at the P. DAVID NEWHOUSE FUNERAL HOME, 215 Church St., New Alexandria. Service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 3, 2016, in the funeral home with Monsignor Larry J. Kulick, JCL, officiating.
