Margaret "Maggie" Grycuk Maschak, 51, of Salem Township, died Saturday, May 14, 2016, in Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg. Born July 2, 1964, in Indiana, Pa., she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Helen Dunmire Grycuk. Maggie worked at the Salem Ukrainian Club in New Alexandria. She belonged to the Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, in New Alexandria. She belonged to the Slickville American Legion, where she was in the women's auxiliary. She also belonged to the Salem Gun Club. Maggie was preceded in death by her parents and a nephew, Joseph "Joey" Kaiser. She is survived by her husband of 27 years, Steve Maschak, of Salem Township; two daughters, Alyssa Maschak, of California, and Myranda Maschak, of Salem Township; sisters-in-law, Frances Vozel , of Texas, and Susan McArdle and Mark, of Virginia; brother-in-law, James Maschak and Beth, of New Alexandria; siblings, Cathy Hickey and Bob, of Missouri, Mary Weaver and Daryl, of Mt. Pleasant, Helen Kaiser and Bob, of Pittsburgh, Joseph Grycuk and Wanda, of Delmont, and Becky McCune and Shayne, of New Alexandria; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; and extended family and friends. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 until 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 18, 2016, at the P. DAVID NEWHOUSE FUNERAL HOME, 215 Church St., New Alexandria. Private services for the immediate family only will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 19, 2016, in the funeral home. A personal friend, William D'Angelo, will officiate. The Slickville American Legion Womens Auxiliary will hold a memorial service at 7 p.m. Wednesday. I love you bunches and bunches, forever and ever, always and always -- see you in the morning.
