Lyle C. 'Buck' Riggle

Lyle C. "Buck" Riggle, 73, of New Alexandria, went to be with his Lord Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2012, in Excela Health Latrobe Hospital. He was born Dec. 28, 1938, in Apollo, son of the late Roy and Cleo (Gilchrist) Riggle. Buck retired from Alltel after 38 years of service. He was an install and repair technician. He belonged to United Methodist Church of New Alexandria. He was also a member of the Salem Ukranian Club and the Salem Gun Club of New Alexandria. Buck was an avid hunter. He loved his football team the Pittsburgh Steelers, NASCAR racing with Tony Stewart and WWE wrestling. He is going to be sadly missed by his family and friends. Along with his parents he was predeceased by his siblings; Raymond, Harold, Goldie and Genevieve. He is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Pat Riggle, of New Alexandria; children, Danny A. Riggle, of New Alexandria, Tracey Brunell and husband, David, of New Alexandria, Jacqueline Rhames, of Apopka, Fla., Lorren, Ricky, Barry and Phillip; grandchildren, Noah Brunell, Zachary Riggle, Brandon Riggle, Matthew and Christina Rhames, and many other grandchildren; siblings, Roy Riggle Jr., Gail Hilty, Frieda Riggle and Shirley Lockard; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 22, 2012, and from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 23, 2012, at the P. DAVID NEWHOUSE FUNERAL HOME, corner of Church and Washington streets, in New Alexandria. Service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 24, 2012, at United Methodist Church of New Alexandria with Pastor Rhea Summit, of United Methodist Church, officiating.
