Kathleen E. (Elliott) Gongaware

Kathleen E. (Elliott) Gongaware, 77, of New Alexandria, passed away Saturday, Feb. 12, 2022, peacefully at home.  She left this world how she lived her life with grace and dignity.  Born Feb. 14, 1944, in Latrobe, she was a daughter of the late Donald P. Elliott Sr. and Rose Marie (Slezak) Elliott.  She was a retired parts department manager for Lone Maple Sales and service with 25 years of service.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sons Jody (Joseph) C. Gongaware and Jason P. Gongaware; her husband William E. Gongaware Sr.; a companion Howard W. Peters; and a brother Donald P. Elliott Jr.  She is survived by a son William E. Gongaware Jr. and his wife Tish, a daughter-in-law Sheri Gongaware-Fitzpatrick and her husband Robert; Howard's daughter Holly Bowman and her husband Dallas; siblings Daniel Elliott and his wife Tracie and Judi Elliott (Mike Cain); a sister-in-law Patricia Elliott; four grandchildren Ashley Fritsch, Jessica Gongaware, Will Gongaware and Joe Gongaware; two great grandchildren Silas and Arthur Fritsch; several loving nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and her beloved dog Pepe.  Family and friends will be received Saturday, Feb. 19, 2022, from 2-6 PM at the P.
