Julia Meslovich

Julia Meslovich, 98, of Greensburg, died Thursday, May 3, 2012, in Westmoreland Manor, Hempfield Township. Born May 19, 1913, in Marguerite, she was a daughter of the late Mathew and Susan (Lucas) Meslovich. She was a member of St. James Roman Catholic Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Michael, John and Andrew Meslovich; and four sisters, Anna Arendosh, Mary Labuda, Elizabeth Hochevar and Catherine Hoffman. She is survived by a sister, Susan Sass, of Greensburg; and a good friend, Thelma Shearer. Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the P. DAVID NEWHOUSE FUNERAL HOME, corner of Church and Washington streets, New Alexandria. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday in St. James Roman Catholic Church with Monsignor Lawrence T. Persico as celebrant. Burial will be in St. Vincent Cemetery, Latrobe.
