Joyce E. Azman, 86, of New Alexandria, died Sunday, April 5, 2015, in Excela Health Latrobe Hospital. Born Jan. 9, 1929, in Buffalo, N.Y., she was a daughter of the late Eliza Mt. Pleasant. She was a retired school bus driver for Smith Bus Co. of Blairsville. She was a member of St. James Catholic Church of New Alexandria. She enjoyed bowling with her many friends. She was preceded in death by her mother; two brothers, Irving and Richard; and a daughter, Diane Latusek. She is survived by a son, Raymond Meleski, of Rhode Island; a daughter, Alissa Berry, of New Alexandria; a special friend, Edwin Henderson, of Latrobe; brother and sister, John Kirk, of Arizona, and Carol Ann Hughes, of North Carolina.; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, April 9, 2015, at P. DAVID NEWHOUSE FUNERAL HOME, corner of Church and Washington streets in New Alexandria, in charge of arrangements, www.newhousefuneralhome.com. Service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, April 10, 2015, at St. James Catholic Church of New Alexandria, with Monsignor Larry J. Kulick, JCL officiating. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, New Alexandria.
