Joseph P. "Joe" Robb, 63, of Crabtree, died Friday, May 24, 2013, in Excela Health Latrobe Hospital. He was born Aug. 28, 1949, in Latrobe, a son of the late John E. Robb and Mary Helen Nalevanko. Joe was a coalminer and worked at the Hunker Mine. His most recent job was at Westmoreland Manor, where he worked in housekeeping. Joe was a member of St. Bartholomew Catholic Church of Crabtree. He also belonged to the Crabtree Volunteer Fire Department Fireman's Club. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 21 years, Doris L. Hughes Robb. He is survived by a daughter, Jennifer Griffith and husband, Joshua, of Jeanette; two stepsons, Vincent Youngbauer and wife, Tammi, of South Dakota, and Joseph Youngbauer and wife, Sophia, of Ohio; three grandchildren, Kristin Sanders, and Tori and Rhiannon Youngbauer; brothers and sisters, Mary Ann Acito and Paul, of Maryland, Margaret Lutz, of Greensburg, Dorothy Stackett, of Maryland, Martha Gilkey, of New Alexandria, Veronica Goodman and Jack, of Ligonier, and Karen Bresnan and Dan, of Crabtree, John Robb and Rita of FL and Robert Robb and Elaine of Crabtree; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family has requested that there be no visitation. A funeral mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Friday, May 31, 2013, in St. Bartholomew Catholic Church of Crabtree, with Father Justin Matro, O.S.B., as celebrant. Interment will follow in Calvary Hill Cemetery, Unity Township. Everyone is to go directly to the Church. P.
