Joseph D. Bracovich

Joseph D. Bracovich, 65, of New Alexandria, died Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2011, at Westmoreland Manor, Hempfield. He was born Sept. 27, 1946, in Greensburg, a son of the late Joseph D. Bracovich Sr. and Emma Lauffer. Joe retired from St. George Crystal in Grapeville after 22 years of service. He was a lifetime member of the Salem Ukrainian Club of New Alexandria and the Hannastown Firemen's Club. He was predeceased by his parents. Joseph is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Barbara Bracovich, of New Alexandria; two daughters, Joyce Hudak, of Gibsonia, and Denise Braaten, of DeBary, Fla.; two grandchildren, Dru Braaten and Madeline Hudak; a brother, Ronald Bracovich, of St. Petersburg, Fla.; and a niece and nephew. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 until the time of service at 8 p.m. Thursday at the P. DAVID NEWHOUSE FUNERAL HOME, at the corner of Church and Washington Streets, New Alexandria, with Pastor Rhea Summit of New Alexandria United Methodist Church.
