.John Foster Davis, 56, of New Alexandria, died Sunday, Nov. 30, 2014, at Excela Health Latrobe Hospital. He was born June 7, 1958, in Victoria, Texas, son of the late John Davis and Betty Shedlock Davis, of New Alexandria. John was retired from the Jo Ann Fabrics Warehouse in Ohio. He was a member of St. James Church of New Alexandria. Along with his father, he was predeceased by his sister, Jean. He is survived by his loving wife of 10 years, Diana Davis, of New Alexandria; his son, George Davis and wife, April, of Ohio; three daughters, Maria and husband, Mark Wells, of New Stanton, Samantha and husband, Randy Komperda, of New Alexandria, and Nicole and husband, David Corder, of Ohio; grandchildren, Kendrick, Lynn, Brenna, Alexis, Ian, Zander and Jason and the Herd; his mother, Betty Davis; and sister, Joan Davis, of New Alexandria. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2014, at P. DAVID NEWHOUSE FUNERAL HOME, corner of Church and Washington Sts., New Alexandria, in charge of arrangements. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 4, 2014, in St. James Church in New Alexandria, with Monsignor Larry J. Kulick J.C.L. as celebrant. Burial will be at Twin Valley Memorial Park Inc., Delmont. Over and out "Ghost Rider."
