Joan “JoJo” Davis

Joan “JoJo” Davis, 62, of Latrobe, passed away Tuesday, November 28, 2023, at home surrounded by her family.  She was born August 19, 1961, in Greensburg, to the late John and Betty (Shedlock) Davis.  She was a graduate of Highland Ave School, Indiana, PA.  JoJo, loved bowling, her day program at the Paula Teacher School, traveling, being outside, polka music, and an occasional Starbucks coffee.  She was a member of St. James Church, New Alexandria.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her twin sister, Jean Davis; and her brother, John Davis.  Joan is survived by her niece, Samantha Komperda (Randall) of Latrobe; a very special great niece and great nephews, Alexis, Caleb, and Zander Komperda; a niece, Nicole Moore (Cassy) of OH; as well as several other nieces and nephews,  great nieces and great nephews and cousins.  Family and friends will be received from 9:00 a.m. to 10 a.m. Monday, December 4, 2023, at P. DAVID NEWHOUSE FUNERAL HOME, 215 Church St., New Alexandria, PA 15670, 724-668-2248.  A funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, December 4, 2023, at 10:30 a.m. at St. James Church.  Interment will follow at Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont, PA.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her name can be made to Miss Gabi’s Art is Good Studio, 2200 Harrison Ave., Latrobe, PA 15650.  To send condolences, please visit www.NewhouseFuneralHome.com.
