Jenene Francis Ramaley, 53, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, Sept. 7, 2017, at her home in Somerset, N.J. Jenene was born Feb. 25, 1964, in Latrobe. She was the daughter of Jean F. Ramaley and the late Walter A. Ramaley. She was a truck driver for many years, and then owned a successful deli. Jenene lived with her life long partner, Paul Bowman, and they have been together for more than 30 years. In her spare time, she enjoyed shopping, traveling, tattoos and family get-togethers. Even more so, she aboslutely adored her dogs and spent every spare second she could playing and pampering them, (Lexington Jac Daniels, Lancelot of Camelot, Lady Lacee, Punkin, Konan the Destroyer, Cameo and Lace, Lolaa, Princess, Halee and Tabby the cat). Jenene was looking forward to her upcoming birthday because she would be gaining a new niece or nephew. There was nothing that could stop her pain, but there was also nothing that could stop her from doing everything and anything she wanted to do. She followed her heart and her dreams. Her family paid this tribute to her, "Jenene was the most kind hearted person you could meet. She opened her heart and her home to everyone, she truly had a 'heart of gold.' She was a kind caring person who always stepped in to help people. She will be dearly missed by the many friends she has left behind." She is survived by her soulmate, Paul; mother, Jean; brother, Lee; stepdaughter, Savannah, "grandchild" Jack; niece, Amanda, and her husband, John, and niece, Krista, and her husband, Kyle; nephew, Tyler; her great-nieces, Carissa and Abigail; and her bestfriends, Angela, Lisa and Katie. Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 7 until 9 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 13, 2017, at the P. DAVID NEWHOUSE FUNERAL HOME, 215 Church St., New Alexandria. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 14, 2017, in the funeral home with Rev. Dr. R. Bruce Maxwell officiating. Interment will follow in Union Cemetery. www.newhousefuneralhome.com.
