Glen "Nick" Machesney III

Glen "Nick" Machesney III, 71, of New Alexandria (Unity Twp.), passed peacefully in his sleep Saturday May 11, 2024, surrounded by his loved ones.  He was born July 30, 1952, in Latrobe, to the late Glen and Gwendolyn (Owen) Machesney Jr.  Glen was an extraordinary man who truly breathed life into anything around him.  He retired from Piad Precision Casting, but his greatest joys in life were his family and his farm.  He will be greatly missed by anyone who was blessed to know him.  Glen is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Suzanne (Falbo) Machesney and their dog Theodore; two daughters, Melissa Garbeglio (John) of New Alexandria, and Heather Keaton of Winston-Salem, NC; four grandchildren Abbey, Mia, Vlad and Izzie; and his sister, Janet Crawford and her husband Stanley of KS.  Family and friends will be received from 2-7 p.m. Tuesday, May 14, 2024, at P.
