Gladys Louise (Jellison) Brandt

Gladys Louise (Jellison) Brandt, 82, of Latrobe, passed away Friday, Nov. 10, 2023, at Hempfield Manor, Greensburg.  She was born Jun. 26, 1941, in New Alexandria to the late Raymond and Mary (Ackerman) Jellison Millen.  She was a retired service technician for Sears know as “the Sears Lady” and she had also worked for New Alexandria H&R Block.  Gladys was a member of the New Alexandria United Methodist Church, the Lions Club of New Alexandria and the Westmoreland County Cattlemen's Association.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death her husband Donald Brandt.  Gladys is survived by three children, Tim McFeaters (Julie), Mary Ann "Missie" Shepard, and Tina Campbell (Rob); a stepson, Craig Brandt (Michele); two grandchildren, Marc Shepard and Lauren Shepard; a sister, Kathleen Myers; and a brother, Roy Millen.  Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2023, at P. DAVID NEWHOUSE FUNERAL HOME, 215 Church St., New Alexandria, PA 15670, 724-668-2248.  A funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2023, at the New Alexandria United Methodist Church with Pastor Tammy Falcsik officiating.  Interment will follow at Union Cemetery, New Alexandria, PA.  In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions in her name be made to Hempfield Manor Activities Department, 1118 Woodward Dr., Greensburg PA 15601, or Action for Animals, 386 PA-217 Latrobe, PA 15650.  To send condolences, please visit www.NewhouseFuneralHome.com.
