George B. Tinkey

George B. Tinkey, 83, of New Alexandria, passed away Saturday, June 22, 2024, at home.  He was born March 20, 1941, in Jeannette, to the late George and Nina (Wagner) Tinkey.  George was a retired truck driver and enjoyed golfing, bowling and riding dirt bikes.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by wife, Rebecca E. (Barnhart) Tinkey; a brother, Paul Tinkey and a sister, Connie Miller.  George is survived by three children, Roger Tinkey (Tracy), Adam Tinkey, and Kelly Latshaw (Mark); a grandson, Travis Latshaw (Erica), three great-grandchildren, Boston, Knox, and Navie Latshaw; a brother, Ray Tinkey (Martha); as well as several nieces and nephews.  Family and friends will be received from 2-7 p.m. Thursday, June 27, 2024, at P. DAVID NEWHOUSE FUNERAL HOME, 215 Church St., New Alexandria, PA 15670, 724-668-2248.  A funeral service will follow at 7 p.m. in the funeral home with the Rev. H.
