Frances A. (Miskow) Miholovich

Frances A. (Miskow) Miholovich New Alexandria Frances A. (Miskow) Miholovich, 94, of New Alexandria, passed away Monday, Jan. 22, 2018, at At Loyalhanna Senior Suites in Latrobe. She was born Nov. 16, 1923, in Wilmerding, daughter of Frank Miskow and Mary Preskevich Miskow. She was a housewife and a homemaker. She was the past president of the American Legion Post No. 331 Ladies Auxiliary of Trafford. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Miholovich, in 2002; and siblings, Albert, Mary, Frank, Julie and James. She was the loving mother of her children, Mildred Lauffer, of Jeannette, Peter Miholovich, of Crawley, Texas, Bertha Simmons, of Manassas, Va., Louis Miholovich, of Ardara; a sister, Nancy Miskow Coleman, of Glassport, Pa. She had nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 25, 2018, at the P. DAVID NEWHOUSE FUNERAL HOME, 215 Church St., New Alexandria, newhousefuneralhome.com. A service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home with the Rev. Father Anthony Carbone officiating. Entombment will follow in Twin Valley Chapel Mausoleum, Delmont.
