Elizabeth E. Vought New Alexandria Elizabeth E. "Liz" Vought, 91, of New Alexandria, died Thursday, Jan. 22, 2015, in St. Anne Home in Greensburg. Born March 7, 1923, in Greensburg, she was a daughter of Levi Seaton and Ella Marie Dunn. Liz retired from the Corner Restaurant, where she worked as a cook for 35 years. She belonged to Open Door Baptist Church of Greensburg. Along with her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Richard Vought, in 1982; and her son, Robert E. Vought, in 2008. She is survived by children, Levi Vought and wife, Brenda, of Altman, Carol Butala and husband, Bob, of New Alexandria, William Vought, of Greensburg, David Vought and wife, Cheryl, of Florida, and Susan Rosborough, and husband, Pat, of New Alexandria; two sisters, Alice Beam, of North Carolina; and Myrtle Cullen and husband, Dale, of Nebraska; 13 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren. Elizabeth was dearly loved by her grandchildren. Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. Monday, Jan. 26, 2015, at P. DAVID NEWHOUSE FUNERAL HOME, corner of Church and Washington streets in New Alexandria, www.newhousefuneralhome.com. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2015, in the P. David Newhouse Funeral Home, 215 Church St., New Alexandria, with Pastor Craig Pendl, of Open Door Baptist Church of Greensburg, officiating. Burial will be in Greensburg Union Cemetery, Greensburg.
