Edna A. McGinn, 78, of New Alexandria, died Friday, Dec. 12, 2014, in Forbes Regional Hospital, Monroeville. Born Feb. 11, 1936, in Pittsburgh, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Violet McClintoc Collins. She retired from Lum's Restaurant, in Westmoreland Mall, where she was head waitress and manager. Edna was a member of Community United Presbyterian Church of New Alexandria. She also belonged to the Order of the Eastern Star of Jeannette and was a member of the New Alexandria Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. She was a hospital volunteer at Latrobe Hospital. Along with her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Fred McGinn, in 2008. She is survived by four children, Harriette Arnett, of Bridgeville, Tom McGinn and wife, Sandy, of Glenshaw, Melody Jenkins and husband, Dan, of Blairsville, and Genevieve Logaraj and husband, Logaraj S/O Narayanasamy; two sisters, Flora Fink and Cynthia Obringer; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, Dec. 15, 2014, and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 16, at P. DAVID NEWHOUSE FUNERAL HOME, corner of Church and Washington streets, New Alexandria. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 17, in Community United Presbyterian Church, New Alexandria, with the Rev.
