Earl H. Wallace

Earl H. Wallace Crabtree Earl H. Wallace, 73, of Crabtree, died Thursday, Nov. 9, 2017, in Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital, surrounded by his family. He was born June 7, 1944, in Humphreys, Pa., to the late Homer and Cora Smith Wallace. Earl retired from Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital, where he worked in housekeeping. He was of the Methodist faith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Crystal; brothers, Sonny, Bob, Larry and Allen; and a sister, Dolly. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Rose Wallace, of Crabtree; four children, Loretta and husband Don, Rose and husband Donny, Earl Jr. and Richard; grandchildren, DJ, Lizzy, Tiffany, Raley, Kaylee, Rachel, Natasha, Shana and Haylie; a brother, CJ Wallace; sisters, Annie, Jeanie, Nancy and Peggy; and his dog, Moomoo. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 13, 2017, at the P. DAVID NEWHOUSE FUNERAL HOME, 215 Church St., New Alexandria. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2017, in the funeral home, officiated by the Rev. Tammy Falcsik, pastor of Luxor United Methodist Church. Burial will take place in Union Cemetery, New Alexandria.
