Dorothy R. "Becky" (McCabe) Wallace

Dorothy R. "Becky" (McCabe) Wallace, 80, of Luxor, passed away Thursday, January 9, 2025, at Loyalhanna Care Center surrounded by her family.  She was born on March 6, 1944, in Luxor, a daughter of the late Ralph and Dorothy (Beacon) McCabe.  She was a homemaker, loved to go shopping, out to eat, and talk on the phone.  She belonged to the New Life Tabernacle.  Becky was preceded in death by her loving husband Bob; her great grandson Seth; and her brothers, Sonny, Reuben and Dave.  She is survived by and sadly missed by her children, Dot (John) Evancho, Bobby (Gloria) Wallace, Jesse (Betty Jo) Wallace, and Terry Wallace; sisters, Rose, Esther, and Nancy; brothers, Joe and Bobby; sisters in law, Rosie and Judy; and numerous nieces and nephews.  Becky was grandmother to Alicia, Matt, David, Earl, Gabrielle, John, Jesse Jr., Cory, Luke, Jailynn, Devin, and Daniel; and great grandmother to Mason and Kyle.  The family would like to thank Heartland Hospice and the staff at Loyalhanna Care Center for your care of our mom.  Family and friends will be received from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Monday, January 13, 2025, at P. DAVID NEWHOUSE FUNERAL HOME, 215 Church St., New Alexandria, PA 15670, 724-668-2248.  A funeral service will be held at the funeral home Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. with Rev.
