Dennis Duane Miller, Jr., known by his married family & friends as Dean Hartley Sabol of New Alexandria, moved into the afterlife at the age of 44, on March 26, 2023. He is survived by his husband, Stephen A. Sabol, his parents Dennis Miller, Sr. and Cindy Miller, his mother in-law Christine Sabol, his siblings Jennifer Hill and Jill Lehman, his sibling through marriage Stacey Reinke and his beautiful familiar, Sasha. He attended Derry Area School District, The Art Institute of Pittsburgh and Seton Hill College, where his love of the Arts led to his illustrating many pieces for online websites and for private commissions and ultimately for his own novel, Everson: Mages in America, soon to be published. He is lovingly remembered by all who knew him and greatly missed by his family. Family and friends will be received from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Thursday, March 30, 2023, at P. DAVID NEWHOUSE FUNERAL HOME, 215 Church St., New Alexandria, PA 15670, 724-668-2248. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 30, 2023, at New Alexandria United Methodist Church, with Pastor Sharon Waltenbaugh officiating. Interment will be private.
