Dee Ann Pierce, 77, of New Alexandria, passed away Monday, Sept. 5, 2011, in Greensburg. She was born Feb. 22, 1934, in Pittsburgh, to the late Rudolph Luchsinger and Minerva Walters. Dee Ann retired from Penn Parts Co. in Blairsville where she was a bookkeeper. She was a member of the former Reformed Presbyterian Church of New Alexandria. She especially loved her grandson, Chris. Along with her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, James S. Pierce, in 2003; and son-in-law, Donald L. Ament, in 1997. She is survived by her loving daughter, Laura L. Ament, of Latrobe; and her grandson, Christopher Ament, of Latrobe. Visitation from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at P.
