David C. Palko Sr., 63, of Luxor, Pa., died Tuesday, March 27, 2012, in Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital. He was born Jan. 27, 1949, in Elizabeth, a son of Thelma Cowan Palko, of Melbourne, Fla., and the late Henry Palko. David had worked for the former Toyad Corporation of Latrobe then moved to New Jersey to work for Cape May Foods, where he worked offshore on the boats, dragging for clams. He is survived by his loving companion of 11 years, Christine Harmon, of Luxor; two sons, Stephen Palko and his wife, Valerie, of Latrobe, and David C. Palko Jr. and his wife, Michele, of Derry; grandchildren, Jessica, Jennifer and Stephen; a brother, Henry Palko and his wife, Cindie, of Export; a sister, Cheryl Bukta and her husband, Anthony, of Edinburg; and two nephews, Andrew and Anthony.
