David C. DeVinney, 63, of Bear Rocks, formerly of New Alexandria, died Thursday, Dec. 2, 2010, in his residence. He was born Jan. 30, 1947, in Latrobe, a son of the late Cecil E. DeVinney and Iola Coffman DeVinney. David retired from Yellow Freight, where he was an over the road trucker. He was Protestant by faith. He graduated from Saltsburg High School and served in the Army Reserves. Along with his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Judith Bonelli. He is survived by his sisters, Joyce McAdams and her husband, John, of New Alexandria, Diane Thomas and her husband, Ira, of Hoople, N.D., and Cheryl Luska, of Vandergrift; and a brother-in-law, James Bonelli, from Saltsburg. He will be sadly missed by his nieces and nephews, David Lentz, Amy Bertolino and her husband, Mike, James Bonelli II, Lance Bonelli and his wife, April, Denise Sherek and her husband, Bernard, Daniel and Donna Thomas, Donna and Daniel Luska; and many good friends and relatives. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday in the P.
