David Louis Ackerman

David Louis Ackerman, 45, of Pittsburgh, passed away Friday, Apr. 1, 2022, at home.  He was born Aug. 8, 1976, in Ohio Valley, PA.  He enjoyed UFO's and researching the unknown.  He also was a survivalist and enjoyed the outdoors.  He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Richard Miller and Barbara (Reider) Miller and his paternal grandparents Charles Edward Ackerman and Helen Marie Kirkland;  and his step-mother Deborah Ann (Ferretti) Ackerman.  He is survived by a son Sebastian Podolinski; his father Charles Raymond Ackerman and his wife Sharlene; his mother Debra Kay (Miller) Ackerman Grote and her husband Robert; three brothers Charles R. Ackerman Jr. (Michelle), Adam C. Ackerman (Kylie), Eric J. Ackerman; four step-sisters Shannon L. Sheriff, Leanne R. Mostafa , Kara R. Daniels and Tanya Grote; a step-brother Jeremy Grote; paternal grandmother Dianna G. Pratt; two aunts Donna D. Lake and Debbie M. Campbell; and two uncles Donald E. Ackerman and Dennis A. Ackerman; as well as several nieces and nephews.  Visitation will take place Thursday, Apr. 7, 2022, from 1-5 p.m. at the P.
