Clara C. (Hohman) Clark

Clara C. (Hohman) Clark, 86, of Summerville, SC, passed away Saturday, Feb. 18, 2023, at Low Country Hospice House, Summerville, SC.  She was born Jul. 8, 1936, in Greensburg, to the late Fred and Anna Marie (Havranek) Hohman.  Clara worked at the Elliott Company in Jeannette, Beer distributing company in Homer City.  Worked on a potato farm in Mercer, but her love was working in the Assisted Living Facilities caring and cooking for the residents. She enjoyed reading her bible, singing, sewing, canning, baking, and a cup of tea and conversation with friends who stopped by.  In addition to parents she was preceded in death by her husband, William A. Clark, Sr; five brothers, Fred, William, Daniel, Frank, and Bob Hohman; and four sisters, Catherine Kaylor, Mary Stickle, Blanche Thomas, and Myrtle Smartnick.  She is survived by her four children, Dala Dolan and Dennis of Summerville, S.C. (grandchildren: E. Patrick, Meghan, and Paul Dolan, Summerville, SC).  Dana Coiner and her family, William A. Clark Jr and his family, John A Clark, and his family; a sister, Margaret Swartz, and Jack, of Mt. Pleasant; four sisters-in-law, Josephine Hohman, Janet Hohman, Pat Hohman and Carol Hohman; a brother-in-law, Richard Smartnick; and numerous nieces and nephews.  Visitation will be Saturday, Feb. 25, 2023, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at P.
