Charles L. Weed

Charles L. Weed,83, passed away August 17, 2022 at home with his family by his side. He was born January 4,1939, in Pittsburgh, son of the late Harold and Violet (Hershberger) Weed. Charles served 2 years in the United States Navy and retired from Torrance State Hospital after 36 years of service. Charles was preceded in death by his loving wife Florence Mae “Tootie” (Waibel) Weed on July 15, 2007. Surviving are his 5 children, Lee (Annette) Weed of Friendswood, Texas, Kimberly (Bob) Bonar of Latrobe, Tammy (Bill) Oskey of Saltsburg, Randy Weed of Fishers, Indiana, and Carrie (Randy) Breakiron of Connellsville. Siblings, Monnie Weed (Maxine), Virginia Carr (Ed), Brenda Smith and cousin Bill Daugherty (Gloria) whom he was very close with, 11 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.  Visitation will take place Friday, Aug. 19, 2022, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at P.
