Beverly E. Sarnovsky Crabtree Beverly E. Sarnovsky, 66, of Crabtree, passed away Thursday, Oct. 11, 2018, In her home in Crabtree, peacefully, surrounded by her family. She was born Feb. 10, 1952, in Akron, Pa., daughter of John Bobinets and Joann Krejocic. Bev was a housewife and homemaker. She had worked as a nurse's aide at St. Anne's Home in Greensburg. Bev also enjoyed helping her huband in their meat processing business. Beverly enjoyed fishing with Carl, especially fly fishing, where she crafted her own flies. She caught many trout with her custom-made flies. She loved to take long rides in the mountains for their fishing trips. Bev was an excellent cook and loved being a homemaker.. She also loved her cats, especially Spy, who was her favorite. Bev was known for feeding all of the stray cats in the cold winters. Beverly belonged to St. Bartholomew Catholic Church in Crabtree, Pa. Bev was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Judy. She is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, Carl M. Sarnovsky, of Crabtree; a daughter, Michelle; a brother, John Bobinets, of Crabtree; numerous nieces and nephews; in-laws, Rita and Bob Coltri, of McIntyre, Pa.; and Bev's best friend, Libby Quinn, of Ohio. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 14, 2018, at the P. DAVID NEWHOUSE FUNERAL HOME, 215 Church St., New Alexandria. newhousefuneralhome.com. Service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 15, 2018, at the funeral home, with the Rev. Father Justin Matro, O.S.B. officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Hill Cemetery, Unity Township.
