Barry Keith Brinker

Barry Keith Brinker, 92, of New Alexandria, passed away Saturday, June 7, 2025, at home.  He was born October 5, 1932, in Latrobe, to the late John Edward and Hazel Florence (Bush) Brinker.  He was a retired millwright, having worked for Kennametal for 42 years.  He was a member of Community United Presbyterian Church of New Alexandria, a 58-year member of Loyalhanna Masonic Lodge No. 275, and a former member of the Latrobe Elks B.P.O.E. 907.  Barry was an active person.  He enjoyed being outdoors and was an avid archery and rifle hunter as well as an accomplished gardener.  Barry will always be remembered as a handyman who could fix nearly anything.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Florence Brinker.  Barry is survived by his wife of 53 years, JoAnn (Coffman) Brinker; two children, Karla J. McCollough (Norman) and Lance P. Brinker (Cindy); three step-children, Pamela J. Sabedra (John), Scott A. Hood (Joann), and Douglas J. Hood (Jennifer); many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; two sisters, Patricia Hake and Beverly Phar; as well as several nieces and nephews.  Family and friends will be received from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, June 10, 2025, at P. DAVID NEWHOUSE FUNERAL HOME, 215 Church St., New Alexandria, PA 15670, 724-668-2248.  A funeral service will be held at the funeral home, Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. with Rev.
